The Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Anambra gubernatorial election, Senator Chris Ngige, said Monday in Enugu that whereas he inherited a paltry N35000 in the coffers of the government as well as over N35 billion debt as governor in 2003, he was able to leave about N12.8 billion when he left office in 2006.

Ngige who addressed Anambra indigenes resident in Enugu under the aegis of Anambra state Peoples Assembly also gave reasons why he wants to return to office as the governor of Anambra state.
According to Ngige, he wants to go back to the Awka government house because he left there abruptly, leaving his work, with most of his aspirations unfufilled.
