Victoria
Beckham is no doubt used to being chauffeured around in luxurious cars -
but on Wednesday, the fashion designer decided to take the train to
Manchester.The
40-year-old was just a face in the crowd as she disembarked at
Manchester Piccadilly wearing a long line black coat from her own
collection which had a gold chain detail at the waist.
Carrying
a leather bag, also from her own range and wearing killer heels and
sunglasses, the superstar certainly looked super chic for her outing.
It
was a special day for the mother-of-four who was in town to launch her
fashion range being sold at the Manchester branch of Selfridges
Manchester for the first time.
Once
there, the former Spice Girl took part in a photocall for the store,
where she stood and posed in a long black satin skirt, teamed with a
chunky looking white polo neck number. Hordes of fans turned up to catch a glimpse of David Beckham's wife, who wore her tousled locks over one shoulder.
In
fact, Victoria didn't seem to find her commute at all stressful,
posting a comical Instagram shot of herself with armfuls of bags and
luggage, including the outfit she was set to wear later on. She wrote: 'Which way to Manchester Selfridges?'
The launch follows her recent flagship store opening in London's Dover Street,The
luxury boutique – Victoria’s first foray into retail – has eschewed
convention, embracing instead a minimalist look, with no cash registers,
no display window and no rails.Speaking
to MailOnline about the unique space shortly before its opening,
Victoria said: It’s the first time people can see the brand through my
eyes.
‘I didn’t want a traditional shop window, just a plain window, and a huge concrete sliding door.
