The governors made their position known in a statement.
The Nigerian Governors Forum has rejected any planned declaration of a
state of emergency in Borno, Yobe and other troubled states.
The governors stated this in a statement by their Chairman, Rotimi
Amaechi of Rivers, on Monday. They advised the federal government to
reject any advice to make such a declaration in the troubled states.
