The African Banker award recognises financial institutions across the
continent that had emerged as industry leaders. Winners of the award
must have consistently reported strong financial performance and
contributed significantly to the quality of service offered by the
financial services industry within their country and across the African
continent.
The Publisher, African Banker magazine, Mr. Omar Ben Yedder said: “We

Commenting on the award, the Managing Director/ Chief Executive
Officer, GTB, Mr. Segun Agbaje, attributed it to hard work; discipline
and a well-defined operating strategy that enables it satisfy its
customers.
