Umeh said this on Thursday in Awka shortly after picking the nomination form for Anambra Central Senatorial District.

Umeh had been handed ole ticket to contest for senate by the party in
the zone.
He said that though he enjoyed overwhelming support from
the people of the area and was sure of victory, the door should not be
shut against anyone who wanted to contest the same seat under APGA.

secretariat, said he had no choice than to heed the call of the people
to serve.

party that would present more than one candidate for any particular seat
in state, under the guise of factionalisation.
Umeh said that his mission to the senate was to work toward bringing greater democracy dividends to his people.

at the APGA office to obtain form was Mrs. Chinwe Nwaebili, the
Speaker, Anambra House of Assembly, who is contesting for Ogbaru Federal
Constituency and Chief Godson Ezenagu, a former commissioner vying for
Awka North/South Federal Constituency.
NAN reports that no fewer than 15 serving members of the Anambra House of Assembly also obtained forms on Thursday.
They included Mr. Harford Osseke, the Majority Leader of the assembly, who is seeking to seeking to be re-elected.
Nwaebili
said having served two terms in the state assembly; she had all that
was required to serve her constituents effectively at the federal level.
Osseke

his constituency, which made the people of the area to support his
re-election, adding that Anambra remained an APGA state.
Chief
Mike kwentoh, the Chairman of APGA in Anambra, said the huge number of
applicants picking up the party’s nomination forms was an indication
