DELTA GUBER 2015: ORUBEBE PAYS HOMAGE TO THE OLU OF WARRI

The Honorable Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Elder Godsday Peter
Orubebe (CON), paid Homage to the Olu of Warri, OGIAME ATUWATSE II to
Felicitate with the Monarch in commemoration of his 26th Anniversary
Coronation Ceremony.
ORUBEBE’S visit was an all important one,
as the Monarch symbolizes a Center of UNITY for the Three Major Ethnic
Groups in the OIL CITY OF WARRI that has always propelled the needed
growth and Development of the Area.
The Minister was flanked by Dance Troupes from the IJAW Cultural Group
which further symbolized the PEACEFUL Co-existence between all Ethnic
Groups that has Graced the Leadership of His Royal Highness. That was
further made manifest by the UNIFYING attributes of Orubebe.
Highpoint of the event was the Official Launch of a Book which was a
Compendium of the Silver Jubilee of the Monarch, that highlights the
Rich Cultural History and Heritage of the Itsekiri people.
Responding to the gesture of the Minister, the Monarch expressed
appreciation to the Minister while he lauded the "Camaraderie" shown to
the Itsekiri’s as he promised to reciprocate it to the IJAW NATION
whenever the need Arises!
Other dignitaries that accompanied
the Minister to the event include, Hon. Sam Osasa, Hon. Sunny Omatseye,
Chief Orido, Gen. Abraham Ogilo and Others. Also present were
representatives of the Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) from the
South-South and South-East Zone
